This room has been in the making for so long, and now that Joanie is 10 1/2 months old, her room is finally finished! Better late than never, right? At least I finished it before her 1st birthday! We moved into our home when Joanie was 4 weeks old, and hadn’t bought her any nursery furniture or decor yet since we didn't want to have to move it. I’ve been slowly collecting furniture and decor over the past few months, and I’m so excited to finally share this space with y’all! It’s hands down my favorite room in our home.

With Valentine’s Day next week, I wanted to put together a a gift basket for Joanie since it will be her very first Valentine’s Day. I had so much fun putting this basket together, and I’m excited to share the details of it with you! Most of these items I actually already had for Joanie, and decided to gather up her pink or love themed items for this collection. She’s not going to know the difference at only 10 months old, so I can get away with it this year. :)

When I first heard about the brand, Ruggable, I was so interested in this brand new game-changing rug. The rug comes in two different pieces— a nonslip rug pad and a lightweight rug cover. The rug cover is thin and very soft, and is able to peel right off (almost like a velcro) and can be thrown into the washing machine when it gets dirty!

I loved putting together a post of my favorite affordable farmhouse rugs, so I wanted to do the same thing for pillows! I’ve been pillow shopping recently since I still need a few more for our couches, and I love any pillow that is neutral and textured, giving it that farmhouse feel. I rounded up a few of my favorites today, some of which I own and love. Others are on my wishlist and ones I’ve been eyeing from some of my favorite stores— Target, Kirklands, TJMaxx, and Pottery Barn. Happy pillow shopping!

The last time I decorated my bar cart was for Halloween and now that all of the Christmas decor is down, I really wanted to decorate something festive again! With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I decided to decorate our bar cart to fit the occasion. I began researching swim lessons in the Nashville area when Joanie was just a month or two old, and I knew I wanted her to take swim lessons as soon as she was old enough to start. Most of the places that offered swim lessons in the area weren’t actual swim schools, and your baby had to be 6 months to start. I stumbled across Goldfish after a google search, learned that they were just opening up in Franklin, and that babies can start as young as 4 months. I decided to sign Joanie up, and it was one of the best decisions I have made!

I’ve been so so excited to share my experience with Baby Merlin’s Magic Sleepsuit with ya'll. They call it magic for a reason- it truly is magical in my opinion! Joanie loved her miracle swaddle so much, that when it came time to transition out of it, I was nervous. She had just hit the 4 month sleep regression and was waking more frequently during the night, and trying to break out of the swaddle very consistently. I knew it was time for a change.

Happy Monday! I have partnered with Pink Blush boutique to share some amazing Fall outfits with y’all! If you haven’t heard of this company before, here’s a little background info. I first heard of them from their maternity line! I got a few dresses from them to wear in my 3rd trimester, and even got my baby shower dress from them! Click here to see it— it comes in so many colors! Now almost 7 months postpartum, I discovered that they also have a regular clothing line as well! The clothes are geared towards mamas, with tons of nursing friendly options, loungewear, and overall very comfy clothes for the first weeks after birth and more!

It finally feels like fall outside and I was so excited to decorate our porch for the fall season! I’ve been loving the layered doormat look that’s been trending, so I couldn't wait to try it out. My “Hey There Pumpkin” doormat is from Etsy and shipping was super fast! The black and white checkered doormat is from Amazon and prime can have it to your house in just 2 days.
