Where has the time gone!? Joanie just turned 11 months old, and I thought it would be a good time to do a round up of our favorite baby items since Joanie turned 6 months old. Everything on this list are items/toys that we all use daily. I’ll go into more detail about each item below, and hope it gives you some great ideas of things you could use for your baby in the 6-12 month range, or as a gift to a mama or mom to be. Click here to see my favorite baby items from when Joanie was a newborn. We still use most today as well!

ONE:

I can’t say enough amazing things about the Lovevery Play Kits. Every 2-3 months, a carefully curated box of Montessori-based toys are sent your baby. It takes all of the guesswork out of how to play with your baby and they give you a guide to tell you how to use each item. Joanie LOVES these so much, and her absolute favorites are the Object Permanence Box and Pincher Puzzle. These kits make such a great gift!

TWO:

Joanie has been sleeping in her Little Unicorn sleep sacks for the past month. We transitioned out of the Merlin Suit when she started to roll, and the Nested Bean when she started sleeping on her stomach. I love how soft these sleep sacks are and they come in the cutest prints for both girls and boys!

THREE:

I love this shopping cart cover! Once Joanie started sitting up, this has come in handy every time we shop! It fits perfectly in Target and Publix shopping carts. It has straps to loop toys on, and a pocket to put your phone. I especially like the neutral farmhouse aesthetic, and that it can work for either gender. It washes super easily too!

FOUR:

Joanie loves these Happy Baby Organic Puffs! These are great to help your baby get adjusted to chewing without worrying about choking because they melt in your baby’s mouth. Her favorite flavor is the Banana & Pumpkin. I love that you can get this variety pack on Amazon, and they also sell them at most stores.

FIVE:

Jo had a really runny nose a while back that lasted almost a month. I love fridababy products and this 3-in-1 humidifier really helped her get some sleep at night. It also is a diffuser and a nightlight. We put these Breathe Frida essential oil drops in her humidifier and it made her room smell like eucalyptus and lavender. It smells so good!

SIX:

Joanie loves this Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes toy! It’s perfect for the car and to take out and about, and recently she has been loving to press the button over and over again to change the songs. It plays popular classic music, and has adjustable volume controls.

SEVEN:

We got the Linkamals set for Joanie for Christmas and she is obsessed with them! The llama is one of her favorites because it doubles as a ring stacker. She loves taking the rings on and off and it makes noise every time she does. All of the Linkamals sync together and talk/sing to one another, and it keeps her entertained for so long!

EIGHT:

I can’t rave enough about the Pib! It is a total game change and is the one baby item you never knew you needed until you have one! You can use code JOANIE20 for 20% off your own Pib from their website. The Bib makes mealtime so much easier, especially when purees and messy foods are involved. I don't know about you, but I was so tired of trying to clean stained bibs and clothing and wash them after every meal. With the Pib, it covers your baby’s whole outfit and snaps in the back. Your baby can’t rip it off and it protects everything from getting dirty! Afterwards, it just rinses off in the sink and dries within 30 minutes. We take ours everywhere with us! They’re perfect for staying clean while doing arts and crafts as well and come in the cutest prints too! 10/10 recommend!

NINE:

Joanie recently fell in love with this Fisher Price Veggie Pop-Up toy at Target and I had to get it for her! She loves closing the vegetables when the pop up, and has been figuring out how to get them up as well. They only sell this toy at Target, as it’s an exclusive to their store!

TEN:

Joanie has been learning to drink from an open cup instead of a traditional sippy cup, but that’s not ideal for on the go. This Munchkin Miracle 360 Trainer Cup helps teach her how to drink from a cup but without the spills!

ELEVEN:

The Snap and Shop Tray is such another item that you didn’t know you needed until you have one! It easily adjusts and snaps onto any shopping cart, and has 2 compartments for your baby to have snacks while you’re out shopping. It keeps your baby entertained while you can get your shopping done. It comes in pink, blue, and green. Joanie loves snacking with it while we’re at Target! You can use code JOANIE20 to get 20% off one on their website.

TWELVE:

The Busy Baby Mat was a recent find that is also a game changer! I didn’t want to put Joanie’s food on the table at restaurants, and was looking for a reusable mat for her. This mat sticks on the table with suction cups and is easily wiped down. What makes it even better, is that it has tethers where you can attach your baby’s favorite toys and pacifiers to play with while waiting for their meal, without them falling on the ground! No more picking up dirty toys off the ground every few seconds! It easily folds up and stores in a bag, and I keep mine in our diaper bag.

THIRTEEN:

Another item we love is this Taggie security blanket. It has a bunch of tags all over it for your baby to play with, because I don’t know about your baby, but Joanie loves tags! Jo loves her “Chikki” and we take it with us everywhere! They come in a bunch of other animals too and are so cute.

FOURTEEN:

Last but not least is this Lovevery Buddy Stroller that we just got for Joanie. She loves this wooden stroller so much now that she’s been taking her first steps, and it glides really well on hardwoods and as well as carpet. It doesn’t go too fast on the hardwoods and she’s able to keep up with it. I’m really impressed with the quality of it and it folds down for easy storage. It’s perfect for a girl or boy, and will be used for many years as she gets baby dolls to put in it.
