Who loves a good before and after as much as I do!? Since quarantine life started, I’ve definitely had the itch to organize every single space in our house. For those of you who are new readers, our home was a custom designed Jones Company home. If you are interested in building a new home in the middle Tennessee area, definitely check them out. Their design studio has every option under the sun to truly customize your dream home, and they made the building process so fun and stress-free.

One of the main things that we loved about our Jones Co. home when we bought it was the thoughtfully designed kitchen layout and all of the space it offers! We never have to worry about running out of storage space, which was so important when purchasing our home. Not only do we have amazing kitchen and pantry storage, but we also have a huge walk in hallway closet that fits our stroller unfolded! The bathrooms have huge cabinets underneath the sinks, and there are 2 massive linen closets that give us all the storage we need and more! Organizing has truly been a breeze because there's a space for everything in our cabinets.

I decided to start my organization spree with under the kitchen sink. If you look at the above photo that’s on the left, you can see that nothing was organized and it was pretty much just thrown in there! The photo on the right shows the after! It looks SO much better, and now everything has a home.

Just looking at this before photo makes me cringe! It was so hard to find anything underneath the sink with all of this mess, and I was so excited to get my hands on some organizing bins to make everything more accessible and functional.

Here is the after! I originally had plans to put a 2-tiered rack in here to place the gray baskets on, but it wouldn’t fit. Whoops! I realized that this set-up was going to be more functional anyways, and everything fit perfectly!

I repurposed this clear bin from another room in our home, and decided to use it for dish towels and cleaning rags, so they weren’t just thrown in under the cabinet. It definitely cleans up the space and makes it look so much neater! This clear bin from Target is similar in style.

This white 2-drawer mesh organizer from the Container Store is my new favorite organization item! I’m probably going to order a few more for the our bathroom cabinets! I decided to use this one for dishwashing tools- I put hand soaps and detergent on the bottom, and sponges and dish soap on the top.

This gray container is from Target, and is super affordable and comes in tons of colors! This is the medium size for reference and each one is only $6. It is super sturdy and is great for keeping all of our cleaning supplies organized!

If you’re looking for a new home that has incredible storage spaces, definitely check out all that The Jones Company has to offer. I’ve been so happy with the amount of cabinet space our home has, and I can’t wait to start on my next organization project. The pantry is next on my list, and so is underneath my bathroom sink. I hope this post inspires you to organize a cabinet in your home! I organized this cabinet for less than $30, so you don’t need to spend a lot on baskets to make your space more functional and clutter-free!
