Hi.

Sharing our 1920’s farmhouse renovations, home decor, homesteading life, and my motherhood journey as a girl mom. I’m so glad you’re here!

Decocrated: Spring Home Decor Box

Decocrated: Spring Home Decor Box

I’m so excited to share one of my favorite subscription boxes with y’all- Decocrated. If you haven’t heard of Decocrated before, they’re a home decor subscription service that sends you a box of carefully curated home decor pieces every season. What I love most about this service is that the pieces can work with any style of home decor, whether you consider your style traditional, farmhouse or modern. I’m always having the itch to redecorate and it’s so much fun to be able to use each piece in different rooms of my house and style each decor item in various ways.

In their Spring 2020 box, they have a lot of dusty blues and blushes to help ease the transition into spring time with accents of gold and pops of green. This box included 4 everyday & seasonal decor items, 2 organization home accessories, and 1 eco-friendly shopping essential. I love that this box included so many pops of color, since I typically go for more farmhouse neutral tones. It was a lot of fun to decorate my house for spring time with some color and step outside my comfort zone!

Even better, I have 2 coupon codes that you can choose from to help you get started on your home decor journey. You can use code HOMEWITHJOANIE10 for $10 off your first quarterly box, or you can use code HOMEWITHJOANIE30 for $30 off an annual subscription. Click here to get started!

How cute is this eco-friendly burlap tote bag!? It’s the perfect bag for grocery runs, farmers markets, etc. and can hold so much! I filled ours with fresh flowers after a Trader Joe’s run before quarantine-life began. It pairs so well with the dusty blue pillow that adds such a pop of color to our entryway cubby area.

Another one of my favorite items from the spring box is the gold tabletop tray. You can use it in so many different ways, and I decided to plant some succulents to bring some greenery into our home and I loved how it turned out. It makes the perfect coffee table centerpiece! Other ways you could use this tray are as a jewelry tray in a bathroom/bedroom or as an office supply organizer in your home office. It’s really perfect for any room!

I used the majority of the items from the spring box to decorate our entryway for spring time. I wanted lots of pops of color to be the first thing you see when you walk into our home to make it warm and inviting. I fell in love with the natural wood and black magnet board, and decide to use a white chalk pen to write “let’s stay home” on it. A phrase that I used to always see on signs now has such a bigger meaning with all of us staying home to help flatten the curve.

It paired so well with this framed artwork by artist Kelly Mekur. Decocrated supports local artists from around the country and bring them to your home in each box. I love how they support these artists and ensure that you have one of a kind pieces of artwork in your home that can’t be found at any retail store. It makes for a great conversation piece in your home and I love the bright spring colors in her artwork.

This black metal lantern is another one of my favorite pieces because of how versatile it is. You can use it in any season and in so many different ways. You can put a candle in it like I did, make a tabletop centerpiece and fill it with greenery or florals in a living room or kitchen island. I’ve also styled in on my fireplace mantle with the candle and it added such dimension to that space as well.

I also placed the other dusty blue pillow, since the kit comes with 2, underneath our entryway table. I love being creative with pillow placement, instead of having them both on the couch. It really adds so much to our entryway!

Decocrated takes all of the stress out of shopping for home decor and trying to pick out pieces that you think would work well together for your home. With the current pandemic and most stores closed, Decocrated is able to help you decorate your home during these times, and keep your home looking cozy and stylish for each season. Remember you can use code HOMEWITHJOANIE10 for $10 off your first quarterly box, or HOMEWITHJOANIE30 for $30 off an annual subscription. I can’t wait to see how you style your Decocrated pieces in your home!
