Hi.

Sharing our 1920’s farmhouse renovations, home decor, homesteading life, and my motherhood journey as a girl mom. I’m so glad you’re here!

Joanie's Target themed 2nd Birthday Party

Joanie's Target themed 2nd Birthday Party

I can’t believe my sweet Joanie is 2 years old already! Time flies by so fast, and in just 2 short months she’s going to be a big sister! Jo’s 1st birthday party was cancelled last year due to Covid, so I was extremely excited to be able to plan an outdoor celebration for her this year with friends and family in attendance. When picking a theme, I wanted to do something that hasn’t really been done before. We are frequent shoppers at Target, and Joanie loves going with me, so I figured let’s have a Target party! It was a hit, and Jo and her friends had such a fun time!

Jo’s balloon arch was made by Something Fun in the Air. They always do such an amazing job! They did ours last year too when we decided to still decorate the house for her 1st birthday. Our local Target was even so awesome to let me borrow a shopping tote!

Joyful Desserts made these amazing Target themed cookies and they were delicious! I also found the round Bullseye dog cookies at our local Target’s Starbucks! What’s a Target run without getting some Starbucks while you’re there?! I picked up these frappuccinos for guests to enjoy with dessert.

The cupcake toppers were from this Etsy shop and turned out so cute! I also couldn’t resist getting Joanie her own Bullseye dog, and this handmade pup from Etsy was the cutest addition!

The birthday girl’s outfit was all from Etsy and I worked with an amazing shop who made this t-shirt a reality!

Jo’s Target bummies were from this Etsy shop, and her t-shirt was made by this shop! She’s wearing a size 18-24 months in the bummies and a 2T in the Cat & Jack brand for the t-shirt. Jo’s Target hair clips are the 4” size from this shop here! Jo’s Mary Jane shoes are available at Amazon by clicking here.

I also had some party favors for the kiddos/mamas, with these Target planner stickers! They were so cute featuring all of the Target favorites. You can shop the stickers here.

Baked in Nashville knocked it out of the park yet again by making my Target cake vision come to life! Their cakes are seriously delicious and they also made Joanie’s cakes for her 1st birthday last year.

I found the Bullseye dog cake pops at my local Target’s Starbucks, and they were such a hit with the kids! My Target was also super sweet in giving me some popcorn bags to fill up for guests too. What’s better than Target popcorn?! The red tablecloth, plates, and napkins were all from Target as well.

To make the backdrop, we hung up a white tablecloth and I used red poster board to cut out the Target symbol by tracing some mixing bowls. These mounting dots worked amazing for hanging it up and were super easy to remove.

I loved my Can’t Be Trusted At Target t-shirt. It’s so true! I am 31 weeks pregnant while wearing it and got a size Large.

Our family had such a fun time at Joanie’s Target party! It still feels crazy to say that I have 2 year old! I hope this inspires you to create a Target birthday party for your little one if they’re just as Target obsessed as we are! I’ll try to link everything I can below, but if you need to know the source of something, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me and ask!
