Neutral Farmhouse Rugs
I wanted to share some of my favorite neutral rugs today! Even if your house doesn’t have a farmhouse style, these rugs would work great with any decor! A rug can completely change the look of a room, and I love how it instantly makes the room feel more put together and cozy. We have 4 of the rugs on this list, and all of them arrived in wonderful condition. They have held up really well with the dogs too. Some of my favorite places to shop for rugs are Rugs USA and Boutique Rugs. Keep scrolling to see photos of where we have some of these rugs in our home. We still need to get rugs for Richard’s office and our upstairs den, so I’ll update this post if we end up getting others on this list.
Hope y’all love these rugs as much as I do! Most of the ones on this list are under $250 for a 9x12, and I have my own Boutique Rugs discount code: JOANIE60 for 60% off that always works and never expires! They have some of my absolutely favorite rugs! If you have any questions about what size rug you should get for your space, feel free to send me a picture of the room to hello@homewithjoanie.com
I absolutely love this rug that we have in our living room! It matches our decor perfectly, with ivory and grey tones. We have the 9x12 and you can shop it by clicking here.
Y’all— this is our most recent rug purchase for Joanie’s nursery and I am obsessed! It was my first time purchasing from Boutique Rugs, and I have to say I’m super impressed. The quality of the rug is amazing, and shipping was so so fast! I highly recommend them. We got the 7x10 and you can shop it here. Use code JOANIE60 for 60% off!
Our guest room isn’t finished yet, but we’ve had this rug for a few years in our guest room. I was worried about how it would look against grey carpet since it was against hardwood in our old home, but it actually matches well! It’s not a plush rug since it’s made of flatweave, but I love the look of it. We have the 7x9 and you can shop it here.
The last rug I wanted to share that we own is this black and white rug in our master bedroom. I had been wanting a black rug for a long time and this one had been on my wishlist forever! Richard surprised me with it as a Christmas present a few years ago, and I love it! It’s really soft and adds a great contrast to our furniture for a more modern farmhouse look. We have the 8x10 and you can shop it here.
UPDATE!
Since I wrote this blog post, we’ve gotten 3 new rugs to help complete our home! We now have rugs in our upstairs den, dining room, and Richard’s office. Keep on scrolling to see them!
I love the look of the rug we got for Richard’s office! It really adds a lot to the modern farmhouse style we were going for. Click here to shop this black & white jute rug.
I was on the fence on whether or not I wanted a rug in our dining area space, and I’m so glad I decided to go for it! We chose the Burdette area rug from Boutique Rugs and I’m obsessed! One tip when choosing a rug to go underneath your kitchen table: make sure the rug is big enough so that when you slide chairs out to sit down, the chairs stay on the rug. Code JOANIE60 gives you 60% off!
Our final new addition is the Turkey area rug, also from Boutique Rugs. I love how this rug instantly transformed our den into a cozier space. Code JOANIE60 gives you 60% off!
