Can you believe Christmas is around the corner?! 2020 has been such a blur with everything going on in the world, and with everyone staying home more. I feel so lucky to have our Jones Co. home, which has been perfect for staying cozy as the weather gets colder, and for hosting friends and family this holiday season.

Whether you plan on hosting for Christmas in-person or virtually, Jones Co. has the best home layouts for entertaining. We just hosted Thanksgiving this past week, and the layout couldn’t have been better. Having a huge kitchen island with extra seating, a dining room, and living room all in the same open space made it so easy to make sure everyone could be together in the same space. It was also a plus that we could watch the Macy’s Day Parade while cooking in the kitchen!

Our kitchen layout is one of my favorite things about our home, especially when you have many cooks in the kitchen prepping food for Thanksgiving. It made things so easy and stress-free! We also had plenty of counter space to lay out all of our food for guests to serve themselves.

While we may be spending Christmas as a family of 3 (with baby girl on the way!), I still love having the house decorated for Christmas. I may have decorated right after Halloween this year because I was so excited, and having the Christmas spirit in the house for longer has definitely boosted my spirits. We decided that just 1 Christmas tree wasn’t going to cut it this year, and went with 3 different trees! We have a 9ft. tree downstairs in our main living area, which fits the space perfectly with the high ceilings our Jones Co. home has. Upstairs in our den, we have a 7ft. tree, and then in Joanie’s toddler room, I decided to put a mini tree in there for her to decorate with ornaments she picked out.

We added fresh garland to our front porch for a cozy and festive feel when neighbors drive by or guests stop over. I absolutely love how our Jones Co. home front porch has the 2 poles for the garland to wrap around, and I love how it frames our wooden door as well.
